Well it's almost here! WM XXX hits the airwaves tomorrow and since today and tomorrow I'm going be busy with stuff and things, I should post this now, without further ado:
WWE Tag Team Championship Fatal 4 Way Match - The Usos Vs The Real Americans Vs Los Mantadores Vs Curtis Axel & Ryback - Fatal 4 Way Match really throws a wrench in the plans of the Champions. Who do I see walking out of Mania' with the belts?
Winners - New Tag Team Champions The Real Americans! *Usos retain by beating the Real Americans. Kinda surprised, but pleasantly, you know? I am loving what is happening with the Tag Team division right now. Glad to see they are giving a lot of people a chance to shine and there is a revival of the Tag Team in the WWE.
Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational - AJ Lee defends against 14 other Divas at the same time. I honestly don't know if AJ will retain, but I would love to see her do it!
Winner - AJ Lee *Winner and STILL Champion, AJ Lee! Glad to see her reign of top Diva is still happening. Vicki was no amused!
The Undertaker Vs Brock Lesnar - Lesnar is a monster that is sure, but come on, it's the Undertaker's Streak! This is simple:
Winner: The Undertaker *Spoiler ahead! Undertaker's Streak has been defeated. 21-1. At first, like most of you, I was stunned. Standing in front of my computer with my mouth agap, staring in disbelief what I was witnessing. I know the WWE lost some (probably) die-hard fans over this, and after watching this, I wonder how many (if anyone) walked out of WM30 and demanded their money back.
It took me awhile to process it, but in the end, I think it was time for Undertaker to hang up the boots, he's no ancient fuddy duddy by any stretch of the imagination, but he's getting up there and honestly he's put in his time. Nice fat paycheck. Time with the kids and wife. I am sure (saying it right now) that he'll be an inductee into the WWE 2015 Hall of Fame.
I think what pissed off everyone is that it was Lesnar who beat the streak, but my wife asked me who else could do it, I had to think about it, and right now, no one on the roster could do it. Cena maybe, but you're not going to turn your Golden Boy into a villain, well you do if you don't want to see any profit in merch sales, that is. Lesnar can play that villain role (until the end of time) and in time the WWE Universe may forgive him. Don't hold you breath on that though.
John Cena Vs Bray Wyatt - I was really hoping for the Wyatt and the Shield to face each other, but whatever. I think these two have had a strong program for a while now, and it'll be interesting to see if the other Wyatt Family members have a say in the outcome of the match. But I'm thinking...
Winner - Bray Wyatt *John Cena pins Bray clean. Finishing up their feud I am assuming. Cena needed a win this year at Mania' that is sure. Bray is pretty "over" right now so a loss doesn't really affect him, and hot damn, he's brilliant on the ol' microphone. One of the best psychological players in the mix right now.
The Shield Vs Kane & the New Age Outlaws - A little surprising that Ambrose doesn't have to defend his US title or that the Shield isn't facing each other or the Wyatt, but hey, a hastily put together program is "what's best for business", I guess. The outcome is simple, you know since, I believe in the Shield.
Winners - The Shield *I believed hard enough and the Shield wins. Maybe I believed too hard, because the match only felt like five minutes, but man, those five minutes where the Shield ran rough shot over the New Age Outlaws and the Big Red (Corporate) Monster, Kane. Ouch. What are the Hounds of Justice going to tomorrow on Raw. Can't wait to see the fallout from Wrestlemania tonight.
30 Man Over the Top Rope Andre the Giant Battle Royal - With 30 men in this and three yet to be revealed, who can say who is going to win it, but my money is on...
Winner - Dolph Ziggler *Ziggler did make it to the end, but lo' and behold, Cesaro lifts the Big Show out of the ring, and there you have it! Glad to see the boys in the board room are putting their money behind Cesero, future WWE World Heavyweight Champion, future Hall of Famer. It's true.. it's da... whoops wrong show...
Daniel Bryan Vs Triple H - Well this is going to be a great match, any way you slice it. Do I think Triple H will walk out of Wrestlemania as the New WWE World Heavyweight Champion? No! No! No! Will D. Bryan win the match, then go on to win the WWE World Heavyweight Champion? Yes! Yes! Yes!
Winner - Daniel Bryan *Daniel Bryan beats Triple H to go onto the main event. Good on you, WWE, good on you.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match - Orton will face Batista (and either Triple H or Daniel Bryan) for all the marbles! It'll be a good match, and if Bryan is in it, it'll be a great match. Who's going to pull out the win? My money is on...
Winner: Daniel Bryan *Daniel Bryan makes Batista tap out to the Yes Lock and our new WWE World Heavyweight Champion is Daniel Bryan! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! I am glad to see that the company actually does want to do "what is best for business" in the Reality Era (te-he!) It'll be an awesome Elimination Chamber match next month at the Izod Center, man, that place is going to be crazy! I think the six participants will be Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Batista, John Cena, Bray Wyatt, and Brock Lesnar. That's my early prediction and I'm sticking to it!
So there you have it, the end of the Streak, the Yes! Movement finally sees the light at the end of the tunnel and there were some matches or something (just kidding, the show was really, really, good and the video packages this year were top notch, amazing really). Wrestlemania XXX did not disappoint, and more importantly, it put a smile on my face. It's going to be hard to top this on RAW, but I know that crowd will be hot and crazy over the Daniel Bryan victory. I know I will.
