Another post. More movie. Popcorn is extra.

So I watch the 1979 Werner Herzog Nosferatu today for free on VUDU (with some commercials) mainly for two reasons. I'd never seen it before today and since I love me some good horror films, I thought, why not? Also it has Isabelle Adjani as Lucy. It's basically Dracula, there, I said it, I know I said I don't spoil but come on, who reading this blog hasn't seen the original 1931 Dracula by Tod Browning (Freaks). Okay, ya back, great film right. Right. About Herzog's film. I liked the Count, I like Lucy, I like Harker, but I totally disliked Roland Topor's portrayal of Reinfield. Hated it if I may be so bold. I am sure I will watch it again in a few years and see some things differently. Locations were great. Makeup was well done. All in all I'd give it three out four stars. If I did that sort of thing that is. Which I don't.
