Another post. More movie. Popcorn is extra.

So I watch the 1979 Werner Herzog Nosferatu today for free on VUDU (with some commercials) mainly for two reasons. I'd never seen it before today and since I love me some good horror films, I thought, why not? Also it has Isabelle Adjani as Lucy. It's basically Dracula, there, I said it, I know I said I don't spoil but come on, who reading this blog hasn't seen the original 1931 Dracula by Tod Browning (Freaks). Oh you haven't, well, check it out and come back!

Okay, ya back, great film right. Right. About Herzog's film. I liked the Count, I like Lucy, I like Harker, but I totally disliked Roland Topor's portrayal of Reinfield. Hated it if I may be so bold. I am sure I will watch it again in a few years and see some things differently. Locations were great. Makeup was well done. All in all I'd give it three out four stars. If I did that sort of thing that is. Which I don't.

Here's the trailer for Nosferatu (1979)

Alright, I'm out of here for a bit. I'll see you all tomorrow. Peace.
