Finally 2K has let the cat out of the bag and all the splendid information is here. Feast your eyes on this (and mind you, the full roster still hasn't been revealed yet!):
First of all when you purchase the Season Pass you'll get Paige as an exclusive character!
There's also the Accelerator which will access all content (excluding DLC) for $1.99.
There are three new showcases that 2K will be bringing to players.
The first on up is 2K Showcase One More Match. It's focuses on the rivalry between Randy Orton and Christian in 2011. The playable WWE stars for that are: Christian, Randy Orton, Edge, Sheamus, and Mark Henry. The playable areas from 2011 will be: Smackdown, Extreme Rules, Over the Limit, and Capitol Punishment. Suggested retail price is $9.99
The next 2K Showcase is Hall of Pain, It features Mark Henry and his top matches. The playable Superstars are: Daniel Bryan, Ryback, Randy Orton, Big Show, Kane, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sheamus, The Great Khali, and of course, Mark Henry. The playable areas are: Smackdown (2011), Vengeance (2011), and Wrestlemania 29. Suggested retail price is $9.99.
These two showcases are interesting, but this next on is amazing. Are you ready? Okay, check this one out.
The final (?) 2K Showcase is Path of the Warrior, it focusing on you guessed it, The Ultimate Warrior. Check out these playable WWE Hall of Famers: The Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, and Sgt. Slaughter, playable WWE Legends: Honky Tonk Man, Rick Rude, Macho King, and Colonel Mustafa, playable WWE Superstars: The Undertaker and Hunter Hearst Helmsley. This showcase also comes with access to Ring Announcer Howard Finkel and WWE managers: Jimmy Hart, Bobby Heenam, Paul Bearer, Sherri, Sid Justice, and General Adnan. The playable arenas include: Wrestlemania XI, XII, XII, SummerSlam (1988, 1990, 1991), Saturday Night's Main Event XXIV, and Madison Square Garden. Suggested retail price is $9.99.
WCW Pack: Playable Superstars are: Fit Finley, Lord Steven Regal, Bam Bam Bigelow, Diamond Dallas Page, and Lex Luger. Suggested retail price is $7.99.
NXT Arrival: playable NXT Superstars: JBL, Adam Rose, and The Ascension (Konnor and Victor), NXT playable Diva: Emma. Suggested retail price is $6.99
New Moves Pack: 30 New Moves. The suggested retail price is $3.99,
The Season Pass is $24.99, which is a savings of 20% as opposed to buying the content separately.
Now with all that out of the way, do you think that this is the entire roster? With Paige as the exclusive character that makes 92 slots for wrestlers, though, I thought Sami Zahn, Adrian Neville, Bo Dallas, and one other NXT superstar where in it too, along with the gaming website IGN mentioning of Booker T, Kevin Nash, and I believe one other Superstar. I guess it'll all come out in the wash soon enough, the game hits the Xbox 360 and the PS3 October 28th in the States so we won't have long to wait for all the info!
