New Series! Wrassler's of Note

You will notice that I purposefully spelled Wrestler wrong. It's okay, don't sweat it, and read on.

I have been watching wrestling off and on over the years since I was a kid, and when I was a kid, we're talking Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling:

Professional Wrestling started to gain national attention in the 1980's, with the likes of Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.

Wrestling has been going on long before that, but like I said, it started to become national, and the great juggernaut, which was then called the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), though now, because of the World Wildlife Fund, it's called WWE (or, World Wrestling Entertainment, respectfully), and boy, has Mr. McMahon and company been entertaining me for about thirty years now.

I'm going to start this series with a relative new comer to WWE, but he's been wrestling the indies, (or independent wrestling promotions) for over a decade now. Since beginning in NXT and coming up to the main roster, this wrestler has won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, held the United States Championship, the WWE Tag Team Championship, he's a one time World Heavyweight Champion, and a  two time WWE Champion. He's also the hottest thing since sliced bread. Okay, I will give you one more hint. Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!

That is right, the first wrestler to hit the series is none other then Daniel Bryan. He's also known as American Dragon, but his real name is Bryan Danielson. He was born in 1981, he hails from Aberdeen, Washington. He is  five feet, ten inches tall, and a whooping two hundred ten pounds. He's a master ring technician, a submission specialist, and totally exciting to watch.

If you don't know who I am talking about, give this video a look!

It's Daniel Bryan vs John Cena this year at Summerslam, which is funny enough, since I've only been to one WWE PPV ever, but it was SummerSlam 2001, which was awesome! Would have love to see Bryan live in action.

If I was in charge of creative at WWE (which I'm not, I'm just a guy with a blog here) I would put the strap around Bryan and just see where it goes. I think Bryan IS the face of the company, what is "best for business", and given an inch he could go the mile and then some. Here's just a quick idea, if you want to take it WWE, fine, but just remember where you got it!

At the TLC PPV, it is going to be Cena vs Orton for a Unified Championship. One ring to rule them all, so to speak. Orton wins clean over Cena. Royal Rumble comes up, give us Orton vs Bryan is a "gimmick" match, say no DQ match. During the match, both The Wyatt Family and The Shield come out, both men get taken out, to a No Contest finish. Make it a ref call to get over that No DQ, like both men cannot go on. Then WWE could push the feud into the Elimination Chamber PPV, giving us Orton and Bryan as the last two opponents, give Bryan the clean finish, and honestly, a much need win and some sweet, sweet Gold around his waist, then let's say for laughs and giggles, at WM 30 it could be a Orton/Bryan/Cena/CM Punk Fatal 4 Way. That match would be amazing! Also, have Bryan win that WM match, but then Sheamus gives him the Brogue Kick to end the show. Then seriously, let Bryan hold that title for as long as the WWE Universe is hot on him, and honestly, Daniel Bryan is money, money, money to the coffers of the WWE.
