WWE Night of Champions PPV 2013 Results

*Results are posted below.  If you don't want to know who won don't read any further. You've been warned.*
WWE Champion Randy Orton vs Daniel Bryan - This will be a clinic to be sure.  Bryan's popularity has been insane as of late.  I am pretty sure they will keep the belt on Orton for a few more months, just to establish him as one of the top Heels in the company under the Triple H/McMahon banner, and honestly, I am okay with that.  Do I want to see Bryan win?  Yes!  Yes!  Yes!  But will it happen at Night of Champions?  No.

Winner: Still WWE Champion, Randy Orton! *Daniel Bryan wins! Yes! Yes! Yes!  The show ends with no double cross or screw over!  Shocking.

CM Punk vs Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel & Paul Heyman (No DQ Handicap Elimination Match)  Glad to see Axel get some PPV time.  It will be interesting to see these two styles clash this Sunday.  Will Paul Heyman's "client" take down CM Punk?  Will Lesnar show up and steal the spotlight?  Will Paul Heyman score a pinfall on CM Punk?  The World will find out who the Best is this Sunday.

Winner: Curtis Axel *Paul Heyman defeats CM Punk (with some assistance from Ryback).  I don't know about that ending.

World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio vs Rob Van Dam - Woohoo! RVD gets a title shot!  Bout' time WWE, bout' time.  The crowd is so bored on Del Rio.  RVD as World Heavyweight Champion would be good for business.  Did you hear that Triple H, it would be Good. For. Business.

Winner: New World Heavyweight Champion, Rob Van Dam! *ADR gets the cheap Heel victory with a DQ.  Alberto Del Rio is still the World Heavyweight Champion.

Divas Champion AJ Lee vs Natalya vs Brie Bella vs Naomi (Fatal 4-Way Match) - It's about damn time that they put the Divas Champion on the line at a PPV.  Also, would love to see Nattie win this one, though them centering this (kinda) around Total Divas is a little ridiculous.  Why is Kaitlyn not in the match, or Layla for that matter?  I think I know how this is going to play out.

Winner: New Divas Champion, Brie Bella! *AJ retains!  Nattie taps to AJ submission move.  Nice match.

The Prime Time Players vs The Usos vs Tons of Funk vs The Real Americans vs 3MB (Tag Team Turmoil No. 1 Contender's Match) - That is gonna be a lotta weight in the ring to ring in the Kick-off match for Night of Champions.  I think everyone is going to put on a great match and honestly, I am not sure who is going to win it, but I got to predict something, so...

Winners: New Number 1 Contenders, Prime Time Players.  *Was right on the money on this match.  Now we will see if the PTP can dethroned Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins...

United States Champion Dean Ambrose vs Dolph Ziggler - Ziggy goes one on one with Dean Ambrose since he won by DQ (by the Shield) on Smackdown.  I think this will be a great match.  I don't think they will pull the belt off of Ambrose right now since he (and the Shield) are playing the faithful hounds (of Justice!) for Triple H.  I would like to Ziggler with gold around his waist, but not the US belt but the World Heavyweight Championship!

Winner - Still United States Champion, Dean Ambrose *Dean Ambrose retains!  Good.  #IBelieveintheShield

Also there is a match that will involve the Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns that will take place after the tag team to face them is decided at the Kick-Off Pre Show.  I think that ALL members of the Shield will retain their titles at Night of Champions.

Winner - Still Tag Team Champions, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns! *The Shield retains!  Again #IBelieveintheShield

The Miz vs Fandango - Absolutely no build up to this match and as far as I know it wasn't even listed on the Night of Champions website.  Good job on build this match, WWE, good job indeed.  You should have added a hardcore stipulation to it.

Winner - The Miz (because why not!) - *The Miz wins by submission.  Nice little match.  Moving on...

Curtis Axel vs Kofi Kingston - Another match that was thrown together at quite literally I think on the fly.  *Curtis Axel beats Kofi Kingston.  Give Axel and Dolph Ziggler a nice feud.  Please and thank you!
