Xbox Classics: Halo: Combat Evolved

Man, what a great game for it's time.  Totally made Xbox a household name.  I remember picking it up and going to a friend's house and doing a 2 Xbox system link and played 3 vs. 3 teams on some of the best maps in gaming.  Blood Gulch, anyone?  Ah, those were the days!

For those not in the know, please direct your attention here:

Halo: Combat Evolved Wiki

Not as hard as the follow up games to the original it was a overwhelming game in size and scope to be sure.  The musical score was something else, a beautiful yet haunting tune(s) throughout the entire experience.  Also the multiplayer was revolutionary.  8 vs. 8 firefights, I don't think the BTB (Big Team Battle) didn't happen until the next game or even maybe the third game in the series.  This game also gave you the option for unlimited grenades!  Gotta love that!

If you haven't ever played this go to the you XBLA and download this bad boy and relive (or live for the first time) the glory that is Halo: Combat Evolved!

This actually happened the first time I played Halo: Combat Evolved!
