This Week in Custom Rock Band

Well it's been a flurry of activity on my blog about the rhythm and real rock games, I thought I would start yet another DLC thread on this blog (like I don't have enough), but this one is a bit different.  A small pool of awesome RB diehards have formed C3 (Custom Creators Collective) and have released free DLC for RB3, including PRO tracks for Guitar, Bass, and Keyboard.  I really, really wish Harmonix would take a look at these guys and throw some money their way or at least get some Kickstarter funding going so I may be able to rock on RB3 with some great tunes!  I think these custom tracks are only for the Xbox 360, but please, don't quote me on that!

Now there are almost 300 songs on their website, but I thought I would post what came out this week, are you ready?  I said, Are You Ready?!?  Okay.  Here we go!

C3 Custom tracks for Rock Band 3 on 5/24/13:

Angra - "Wuthering Heights" *
Bonnie Tyler - "Have You Every Seen the Rain?"*
The Damned - "Eloise"*
Faith No More - "Easy"*
Gary Jules - "Mad World"*
Hugo Montenegro - "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly" X *
Pantera - "Planet Caravan"
Sinead O' Conner - "Nothing Compares 2 U"*
William Shanter - "Common People"*

(X denotes PRO Guitar/Bass * denotes PRO Keyboard)

Now grated these customs are only available in local play only and not all the instruments are recognized in each song, and you have to do some wizardry for all the customs to work on the 360 that I haven't even looked into (maybe that is another blog post all together) but the staggering amount of FREE DLC these fine folks are putting out is mind-blowing.  Good job to C3 on keeping the Rockin' dream alive for a ton of us die hard RB fans!

Curious on what else they've done?  Here's the website:
