This Week in Rock Band

Well, due to some snafu at Zero Hour yesterday, two tracks feel through that were supposed to be arriving on Tuesday.  Which means for the first time (in a really long time,  since Rush's Subdivisions on Nov. 2, 2010) there's only one song released for Rock Band this coming week.  So without further ado:

Single track for 6/12

Incubus - "Drive"

Now this song is alright, though I won't be picking it up but I'm sure a ton of people will.  I am really curious as to what the other two songs were.  Was it more Incubus?  Was it two other bands?  We may never know how many licks it takes to get the the tootsie roll center of a Rock Band track.  One.  Two.  Three.  Ah, three.  There ya go.

HMXHenry also stated in the announment that some band will be coming in the next few months, such as:
Queens of the Stone Age, B-52's, and Daughtry (I don't know who they are).  I'm down for more music from the B-52's (please let it be Love Shack!) and QotSA!  I am not familiar with Daughtry, but I'll check em out on Spotify later.

Here's the tracks that were released yesterday for the RBN on the Xbox 360:

Metal

Asking Alexandria - "Dear Insanity"
Edenshade - "Another Purity Failing"
Coldera - "Melodicus Counterpointus (2X Bass Pedal)
Spires - "The Infinite Decent"
Wolfcrusher - "Skeletonizer" (2X Bass Pedal)

Pop-Rock

Daryle Stephen Ackerman - "Sarah"

Rock

brentalfloss - "This is the Album You've Been Waiting For"
Jeremy Manjorin "Skinny Seventeen"

Well nothing for me this week in RB and the RBN.  Maybe next week will be something awesome, like more Alice Cooper or maybe a new artist hitting up the game for the first time, like Twisted Sister!  Ah, a Metal fan boy can dream right?

Are you excited about Incubus coming back to Rock Band?  Sound off below.
