This Week in Rock (Games)

It's Tuesday and there is some DLC coming at you today courtesy of Rock Band 4 and Rocksmith 2014! Let's get right to it:

Another week of only two tracks. I kind of hope this isn't a trend of things to come. I have to say I'm excited for the Imagine Dragons song, it is definitely a "earworm"! I've haven't listened to Three Days Grace really so I can't vouch for it one way or another.

I like the song "Drive" but I don't really know the others, or if I do I don't recognize them by name.

This Week in Rock Band

So I haven't posted a "This Week in Rock Band for a bit.  Mainly I've been swamped but also the last two weeks have been music that I haven't really been into.  But next week songs have me all a-flutter.

So it's two tracks out of the three that really stand out and I know my wife will be super stoked to hear about them when she wakes up, so without further ado...

There have been a ton of RBN songs out over the last few weeks, and honestly, unless I really want a song from there, I don't think I'll post the tracks up here anymore.  Sorry, RBN fans out there but I will link so with just one click away you can see all the delicious tracks that are coming out.

Not to excited about Three Days Grace, though, I haven't really listened to them, so they might be awesome.  I am sure some people are excited to get them.  That is one of the things I love about the DLC that comes out.  I might not want what comes out every week, but man, they are trying their damnedest to give a little bit of everything out there.  I've said it before in my posts, I think this year will be AN AMAZING year of DLC from the folks at Harmonix,  I'm predicting more Iron Maiden, I'm hoping for some new Metallica (from the old catalog of music), and I'm dreaming the community will get some Twisted Sister, W.A.S.P., Venom, and other various forms of Metal.  The new Facebook dashboard app is a great thing and this will benefit Harmonix and the community at large.  Will we see new full albums?  Well, probably not, but I think we'll get tracks from existing bands already in the game and some much needed tracks from major bands not already in the game.
