For this week's Movie Ticket Monday is The Mummy Returns! Liked it, but not as much as the first one. My girlfriend at the time was a crazy Mummy fanatic, so it was inevitable that I saw this. Not great but not horrible either...

Well it's about time! Some female-fronted music is coming our way this Tuesday. It's a three pack (I'm starting to see a trend here Harmonix) from the Grammy Award winning band, Evanescence. These tracks span their career 2003 to 2011. I'm listening to these tracks on Spotify right now as I'm not to familiar with the band besides their track Bring Me to Life. I wasn't impressed with Everybody's Fool, but I'm enjoying Lithium and What You Want. Don't think I'll pick up these tracks though. I'm still waiting for more 80's Heavy Metal, i.e., Maiden, Metallica, W.A.S.P., Motorhead, etc. A Rawker can dream right! Right.
Some tracks also came out for the RBN this week. Nothing that I'm like OMG or anything. Still waiting for more Drive By Truckers and older Black Metal that I actually might recognize. Just for fun, if I could pick any 2 tracks by DBT and 1 Black Metal band it would be this please be advised that these following tracks are NOT COMING OUT TO THE RBN:

Though, Second Chance is alright, but I didn't like Bully or The Crow & the Butterfly. There wasn't too much on the RBN this week either, except a new JoCo track which might be worth checking out.

Temporary Interruption in DLC Service for SCEE, NOA & NOE Starting 4/3
Hey gang,
Starting April 3rd there will be a temporary interruption in DLC service for SCEE (Sony Europe), NOA (Nintendo in America) and NOE (Nintendo in Europe). This downtime is a direct result of mandatory changes being made to our DLC publishing arrangements.
What does this mean for PS3 and Wii users in the affected territories?
• Starting 4/3 there will be a temporary interruption of new DLC releases (including RBN)
• The existing catalog of previous RB DLC releases should remain available as usual
• Export for all eligible RB titles should be unaffected
• Our hope is to resume regular DLC service by this summer
We know that this isn’t ideal news for those of you still picking up new DLC every week, but you can trust that this short down time is necessary to ensure the continued release of DLC and the continued availability of the thousands of songs in the back catalog. There is no precedent for managing a library of content this size, and no standard for making changes on this scale but we are working hard to ensure that the process is as quick and as smooth as possible.
We’ll refresh this post with updates and responses to FAQs in the coming weeks, so please keep posted for more info. Thanks a lot for your patience and understanding.

So I haven't posted a "This Week in Rock Band for a bit. Mainly I've been swamped but also the last two weeks have been music that I haven't really been into. But next week songs have me all a-flutter.

Not to excited about Three Days Grace, though, I haven't really listened to them, so they might be awesome. I am sure some people are excited to get them. That is one of the things I love about the DLC that comes out. I might not want what comes out every week, but man, they are trying their damnedest to give a little bit of everything out there. I've said it before in my posts, I think this year will be AN AMAZING year of DLC from the folks at Harmonix, I'm predicting more Iron Maiden, I'm hoping for some new Metallica (from the old catalog of music), and I'm dreaming the community will get some Twisted Sister, W.A.S.P., Venom, and other various forms of Metal. The new Facebook dashboard app is a great thing and this will benefit Harmonix and the community at large. Will we see new full albums? Well, probably not, but I think we'll get tracks from existing bands already in the game and some much needed tracks from major bands not already in the game.
Just to warn you this will be a rather long post, so brace your feet to the sled, kiddos, and let's take this treacherous road downhill into the ground. Flames and all.
So I've missed some posts but life happens and we keep on a-going. I'm going to start with Red Dead: Redemption. I haven't played the game since something like August of 2010, but in my defense I couldn't play multiplayer. The game would kick me out seconds after I joined so I just stopped and I would have re-sold it if I ever went to a video game store with any frequency nowadays. But I've just kept it and now I'm glad I did. I fired it up and took a stab and tried to get back online and lo and behold it worked! Totally excited that I'm able to play this game again online. It's super fun, there is free DLC, ambient challenges, some co-op matches, jeez, the list goes on and on. But I've been having a blast with it to say the least. Fun, fun times.
Rewind time to December 25, 2000. At 10PM at night I was sitting with a group of good friends about to watch a really bad movie. This little gem was Dracula 2000. Let's just say, well, it wasn't great. Wait, no, I can say more than that, it was hideous. The best part (for me) was Danny Masterson (as Nightshade, hehe) gets a leech attached to his eyeball in the first 20 to 30 minutes of the film and then I was like okay that was my highlight for it. Though, honestly it was a awful film... so, here's the trailer!
Now fast forward to the last couple of weeks. I've been checking to see what is coming out for games and nothing has really caputred my eye and time. So I haven't posted anything in the last few weeks, though now during the Summer of Arcade there are a few XBLA titles that I'd love to get my hands on.
This game looks super sweet. I haven't played the first one but it takes place in Arizona so I am interested on how they are going to make the desert creepier than I can imagine it as, as in my youth I ran all over the desert. The price is a bit steep but that is way the arcade games are going.
This arcade game looks really interesting. It has climbing platform elements that I can get into. Not sure what combat is like but I'd love to give it a try at some point with time, money, and hard drive space allowing.
Not to many AAA titled games coming out that I'm looking at, in between my new love affair with Red Dead: Redemption, the unending catalog of Rock Band tracks coming out in the foreseeable future, and Halo: Reach I don't think I have time to play any new retail games right now.

The Anarchy Club song is a gotta get it. The groove is pretty happening. Just a quick note, I am glad that so much music is still coming out of the RBN each and every week, but a ton of it I just don't know the bands or tracks and can't justify spending my cash when so far everything that has come out in the RB library are awesome tracks that can't be beat, damn near since Rush's 2112 at the end of the year it's been a great selection of songs for the game. Though it would be nice to see another full album released some time soon...
