I thought it was great! Neill Blomkamp who directed District 9 (another great movie) does it again. Set in 2154, the rich and poor are divided. The rich live in Elysium, a paradise amongst the stars, while the poor live in a hellish Earth where disease and violence run rampant. Great performances by Matt Damon, Jodi Foster. and Sharlto Copley. Took me about half of the movie to realize Sharlto was in it, and then it was only his voice I recognized, that beard makes him totally bad-ass. The effects were great and Elysium looked amazing, also, can I have one of those disease destroying beds in real life, please and thank you NASA!
If you have a chance to watch this at the theater, quick! Go and see it! You will be glad you did.
