WWE Payback Predictions *Results*SPOILERS

I thought I would predict who is going to win this Sunday at WWE's new PPV, Payback.  Let's get this show on the road!

SPOILERS ARE IN BOLD.  You've been warned!

Pre-show match: Damien Sandow vs. Sheamus

I think that due to interference Damien Sandow will beat Sheamus on the pre-show match.  Maybe a Mark Henry run in to distract the Great White and Sandow with the cheap roll up victory. You're welcome!

Winner: Damien Sandow *Sheamus wins with the Brogue Kick*

Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk

Will the "Best in the World" beat the "Best in the World"?  Man, I hope Punk doesn't have the "ring rust" for this bout, which could be the highlight of the show between these two competitors.  Let's see?  Punk in Chicago.  I think this one is going to the hometown hero.

Winner: CM Punk *CM Punk wins with not one, but two GTS on Y2J.*

Kaitlyn (Champion) vs. AJ Lee for the Diva's Championship

Kaitlyn has had the belt for awhile now, but I don't think it's been that great on her.  I mean what has she been doing?  Defending it?  Not that I can recall.  Also if Ziggler is still champion after this night, I think AJ should have a belt too, say what, the new WWE power couple! (Watch out HHH and Steph!)

Winner: AJ Lee (New Divas Champion) *AJ Lee makes Kaitlyn tap out with the Black Widow submission.*

Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns (WWE Tag Team Champions)vs. Daniel Bryan & Randy Orton for the WWE Tag Team Championship

The Shield has been on a roll as of late and I love what they are doing in building them up.  I personally don't think that the titles will switch hands.  I do think that the crowd will love the holy hell out of Daniel Bryan, and I hope that the rumors of Daniel Bryan vs. John Cena will happen soon. (Yes!)  A Dean Ambrose distraction will have the Shield swimming in gold!

Winners: Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns (Still Champions) *The Shield retains the belt with Rollins blasting Bryan's head into the mat!  Wow, that was brutal!*

Wade Barrett (Intercontinental Champion) vs. The Miz vs. Curtis Axel (he replaced Fandango) for the Intercontinental Championship

Triple threat!  Love em' just for that "X" factor.  Will Barrett retain?  I don't think so, but I don't think The Miz will win it either.  Yep, I am going with Curtis Axel!  Why?  Why not, he's on a roll!

Winner: Curtis Axel (New Intercontinental Champion) *Curtis Axel pins Wade Barrett while in the Figure Four Leg Lock by the Miz.*

Dean Ambrose (United States Champion) vs. Kane for the United States Championship

Like I said about the Shield, I don't think that any of them will drop the titles this Sunday.  Whether it's due to Shield interference (though I suspect it'll be a Daniel Bryan heel turn!) or something else, I believe in the Shield and in Dean Ambrose's ability to retain the belt against the Big Red Monster!

Winner: Dean Ambrose (Still United States Champion) *Dean Ambrose retains by Count-Out.*

Dolph Ziggler (World Heavyweight Champion) vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship

This one will be a show-stealer! ADR will give it his all but I really think that they will keep the belt on Ziggler.  When Ziggy cashed in the Money in the Bank the crowd went crazy (the Izod Center crowd was on fire that night, which was the night after WM this year), and then he's out with a real concussion, I don't think the brass will let him drop it to Alberto Deeeeellllllll Rrrrrriiiiiioooooo this soon!

Winner: Dolph Ziggler (Still World Heavyweight Champion) *ADR wins the belt after a brutal kick to the head of DZ.* Bummer.

John Cena (WWE Champion) vs. Ryback for the WWE Championship

A three stages of Hell match!  Can't wait to see this one.  I have no idea who is going to win this one really, but I don't think that we'll see Cena hold on to it, I mean they've screwed Ryback out of the belt a few times over.  I don't think he'll keep it for long, but I think he'll have it until SummerSlam.

Winner: Ryback (New WWE Champion) *Cena retains with a lame duck finish!*

Well those are my predictions!  I'll update this come either Sunday night or Monday morning and see how well (or not) that I did. *So, I missed on the Ziggler/Rio, Ryback/Cena, and Sandow/Sheamus, well 5 out of 8 right, ain't that bad!  There ya have it folks!  What did you think of the Payback PPV?
