Happy Fifth Anniversay, Symphony!

My wife asked me yesterday on Facebook for my fondest memory of her because today is our fifth wedding anniversary. This might sound a bit cliche' but I would have to say it was on our Wedding Day back in 2008. We spent two days (I think) previously setting up the area where we were going to be married (we did an outside wedding, and for April in Washington State we really lucked out that it didn't rain) so we were pretty exhausted on the day of.  We had a decent amount of people there including Symphony's Step Mom, Husband, and Sister (who flew up from Alaska) and my Mom who flew in from Virginia, we called it the "Mom Wedding".

I remember Symphony and I had to share a shower before we actually got married and every single time that someone turned the water one in the kitchen the shower poured hot to freezing water down on us.  We'd laugh about it then scream with the water hit us.  It's pretty funny still to this day when I think about it.  It was the fastest shower we've ever taken together, good times!

Symphony looked awesome that day (she looks awesome every day, but she knows that!) and was so freaking happy, with a grin ear to ear, it might have been that she married her best friend, but I guess it could have been the coconut rum!  I kid, I kid.

I am very glad I get to wake up to her beautiful face every morning (with coffee in hand mind you, I ain't crazy!) and I get to spend our years growing older together.  Today marks our 5th Anniversary!  Five years and going strong, I wouldn't change it for the world.  I love you, Symphony Jones!  Now let's get some ice cream, bacon, and lobster, it's going to be a crazy night! *Insert maniacal laugh here*
