Waiting for Beyond Good and Evil HD to redownload on my Xbox 360. It's totally taking forever, what is up with that Microsoft? I've already purchased it and there is space on my HDD, I feel it should automatically redownload lightning fast. Shouldn't it? Other items do, so why not this one? It's is a bit of space but still.
As I am sure a ton of you have noticed (or maybe you haven't) that I'd post about the Xbox Update to the Dashboard. Well, I'm still giving it time to play around with everything before I give my final verdict. Wow, download is still not half done and we are into minute five at least. I know my internet is super fast so that is not the problem.
I was excited about cloud saves, but from what I gather it's just for saved games and not DLC. That would have been nice but I suppose they have to push those 250 or 320 GB "super deluxe" consoles for five C notes (even with a stop for a minute the download speed is only 63%, oh, 64, my bad. And what is with when you put a flash drive into the box and "program" it, that it eats up something like 2G of space. I call that BS. For the love of God, if you could Microsoft, how about lower the price on the old HDD for the non-slim console model, please? You know, if it's not too much to ask.
Well damn, I'm just going of on the poor ol' Microsoft. But here is how I feel. I've donated lots of time and a lot of money (DLC, controllers, batteries, headset(s), microphones, ether net cables, replacement consoles, games), truly a staggering amount of money, to the little black box that could. Once in a while I would not like to be run over so hard and repeatly by the gaming company and console that I've stood by since the origianal Xbox days for something like 10 years now...
Well it looks as if my rant is over.
