I like Black Metal.

It's hard, ferocious, unrelenting and brutal. I don't like the "dog growl" vocalist in most Black Metal bands though, except for Arch Enemy - Nemesis and possible Ancient.
My first real brush with this sub genre would be Venom and Slayer. It is strange how the music has evolved since those early days. There are a lot of crazy great bands out there. So much music so little time...
