Winner: Barrett, Sheamus, and Rusev *Ziggler, Cesaro, and Neville won the match. Cesaro was on fire. Why isn't he holding a belt again WWE? Ziggler was a punching bag and Neville won with the ever amazing Red Arrow move. Actually pretty good first match to get the crowd pumped.
John Cena U.S. Open Challenge Match - Cena is putting up his title against a mystery opponent. Some say Slater, some say Bray will challenge, some have even specualted that Daniel Bryan is going to be the one to come through the curtain. It's anybody's guess tonight, but since it's all over the internet that Cena is taking some time off, it'll be this.
Winner: and NEW United States Champion, ??? *Who knew it would be Alberto Del Rio?!? I was really hoping for Daniel Bryan, but it is what it is, glad to see the crowd react so strongly to his entrance. *Del Rio wins the belt tonight. Glad to see him back and running with the U.S.title. Let's see where this goes WWE.
Reigns vs Wyatt (Hell in a Cell Match) - It seems only logical that this would follow the kickoff match. Thereby seeing the previous opponents make a comeback out to the ring and a possible deciding factor as well. It seems like Bray has been on a PPV losing streak so I hope this is the match where it will change. Reigns is pretty over with the crowd (finally) so I don't think a loss will hurt him all that much.
Winner: Bray Wyatt by pinball (caused by interference somehow) *Reigns wins with a spear. Bray really really needed a win here. Hrm. *At this point I didn't watch anymore of the PPV, so from this match on, I can't attest to the performances of the Superstars and Divas. Just a little FYI for you.
Kevin Owens vs Ryback (Intercontinental Championship Match) - This match is a little tougher to call. I think Owens needs to hold on to the title for a little bit longer though at the same time Ryback needs to hold that belt as well. His last run with it was sidelined with a staph infection, so there's that. So this is what I think is gonna go down.
Winner: Ryback (but by DQ) Owens retains that title. Owens hits the Pop-Up Powerbomb for the win. Surprising finish, I really thought Owens would take the low road to victory. Okay, let's see what ya can do, Owens.
Charlotte vs Nikki Bella (Divas Championship Match) - Nikki gets a shot at the title again. I think it'll be a good match. But honestly, this is what is I think will be the ultimate outcome. Right now the women of NXT are killing it. I can't wait for Bayley and KANA (er, Asuka) to make their main roster debuts.
Winner: Charlotte by submission. *Charlotte wins via submission. Yeah! Glad to see the belt stay with Charlotte.
The New Day vs The Dudley Boyz (Tag Team Championship Match) - The Dudley's have a opportunity to win the Tag Team belts for a record ten times. As great as the New Day's Heel run is going (and it great to be sure) but I think the end of the reign of the New Day is in short order.
Winners: and NEW Tag Team Champions, The Dudley Boyz! *New Day wins. Boo, Wendy, boo. i was really hoping to see the Dudley Boyz come back and be 10 time champions.
Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar (Hell in a Cell Match) - The last match between Taker and Lesnar (or so they say), I know it's going to be a clinic. This will be bloody. This will be brutal. This will be a spectacle for the ages. Possibly Taker's last match. That is worth the price of admission right there.
Winner: Brock Lesnar *Leasnar wins with a low blow followed by an F-5. I am sure there was some heavy boos for that. Or cheers. Who knows, I don't, that's who.
Seth Rollins vs Kane (WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match) - There is also an added stipulation that if (the Demon) Kane loses than (Corporate) Kane will lose his job as Director of Operations. Cool. A little gimmick thrown in there just for knee lifts and elbows. I think the final match of the night (maybe) will end like this.
Winner: and STILL WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Seth Rollins... But Sheamus will cash in the Money in the Bank Contract and... and NEW World Heavyweight Championship, Sheamus to end the show! *Winner and STILL WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins. There wasn't even a run-in for a cash in from Sheamus. Hey, Mr. Money in the Bank! All you have to do is take it. The odds are in your favor. What? You don't like gold? The WWE Universe (when, not if) the Celtic Warrior gets the title, is going to boo hard, I mean, really hard. We still remember the Cena-Orton-Sheamus love fest from a (more than few) too many years ago with the title in the balance and all that. At least I do. Sheamus could be the biggest Heel in the business and hold that belt until the Royal Rumble or even Wrestlemania. Just my two cents, but, I digress.
Well, come back next Sunday to see how well I did or didn't do. I think I have the bulk of these predictions true, but who knows. Find out next week!
Well I only got the woman's match totally correct. Not a good record right there. Truth be told, I didn't watch this PPV so I can't attest to the brutality which transpired. The few people on my feed were disappointed with it. So who knows. I thought Taker and Lesnar would have been the thing to see, since it did go on last. I don't know why they had the WWE World Heavyweight match before the IC match. That is just weird. I always feel that no matter what, the main belt should go on last. Once again just my two cents.
