How High is the Ceiling (Shocking and Disturbing Cinema)

A question I like to ask new people I come to meet if they have seen the film Oldboy.  Some have, some haven't.  For those that have what did you think of it?  Sound off in the comments below if you'd be so kind.

Directed by Chan-wook Park (Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK), IMDB gives the short synopsis, "After being kidnapped and imprisoned for 15 years, Oh Dae-Su is released, only to find that he must find his captor in 5 days."

Okay, so it's a type of revenge flick.  But it's so much more than that too.  Insane adult themed issues.  Mutilation  of one's own body.  Taboo love.  I loved it the first time I saw it.  Visually brilliant and great dialogue.  Once it starts it never really lets up and that is a good thing!  Symphony got me the collector's tin for Christmas a few years ago, it comes with Book 1 of the Magna of the same name, a collectable film cell and two other DVD's with extras and special features.

Here's a shot of the Collector's tin!

And if you need any more proof to go and see this, check this out:
