How High is the Ceiling? My Reflections on Shocking and Disturbing Cinema (NSFW).

This next film was so insane that after renting this video I returned it without watching the last thirty minutes or so... until I was able to purchase it years later.  I finally watched it and wasn't super impressed with the film, but at the time I had not seen anything like it.  It was classified as a mini-monster movie and it does live up to it's name.  What film am I talking about?  Well, it's Tetsuo: The Iron Man.

When I finished watched it I thought it was a hour long Japanese music video.  There's not much dialogue and the story is a bit disjointed.  But there are still scene of total insanity and horrible deprivations.  Not as terrible as other movies that I'll talk about in this series, but it still holds it own in certain ways.  If you get a chance to check out this flick you should.  Is it great?  No.  It's not.  But maybe you'll find  something in it that will shock and delight you.  If not, well, tough cookies pal.  I thought I also link a shot of the film poster, you know because that is too cool, right?  Yeah, right.
