New series up here on my blog. It's about concerts I've been to, concerts I'm going to, or concerts I want to go to. The first entry all up in this bad boy is the swinging locomotive that is Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
First off the show I went to was a Christmas themed show which upon first hearing it I wasn't sure if I was going to like but lo and behold they rocked the holiday cheer like gangbusters! They played a few non-X-Mas themes ditties and those were sweet as apple pie. I didn't get too many pictures of the show but I was in the "second row" (it was table seating) and had a great view of the stage and for this ol' blind coot, that is a big big plus.
My only real gripe is that they were advertised for a three hour show and only played for about two. Other than that it was awesome. I'll post a picture of the t-shirt I picked up that night (though Symph picked it out while we were standing there, so you know know credit where credit is due, and all that).
