Well those three tracks that were possible spoilers? Not what is coming out on Tuesday, but don't fear, I got the hook up! Without further ado:
Linkin Park 4-Pack
"Breaking the Habit" (O)
"Shadow of the Day" (O)
"New Divide" (X)
"Burn It Down" (O)
(O denotes Keyboard, X denotes PRO Guitar/Bass Upgrade)
Well it's not B.O.C or even Carole King... maybe those will show up some day! Now I'll have to give the tracks a listen before I commit to buying, but like the last ten weeks I won't be picking up anything. Let's see what is on the ticket that was released yesterday on the Xbox 360.
Well there was a "blip" on the RBN servers so nothing was released yesterday. I'll edit this post when the tracks are available for purchase. *EDIT* So I'm taking this info from DLCQuickplay since it has always been pretty good about what's what and all that, so without further ado the tracks that should be released on the Xbox 360:
Metal
Fail Emotions - "Wasted (2X Bass Pedal)
Fretless - "Ride"
Not Above Evil - "The Duel (2X Bass Pedal)
Other
Nathaniel Whitlock - "The Main Thing"
Pop/Rock
Art Benson - "Mind In Motion"
Ura Jensen - "Let's Write a Song"
Progressive
An Endless Sporadic - "The Triangular Race Through Space"
Rock
Bumblefoot - "Dash"
Jerry Naylor - "That'll Be The Day"
Silent Theory - "Living the Dream"
The Bumblefoot song is great! An insta-buy! Same goes for the Jerry Naylor track. Great cover to a Buddy Holly classic! Nice.
What do you think about more Linkin Park in RB? Are you stoked? Do you wish it was the "leaked" tracks that were released? Anything on the RBN sounding awesome to play? Sound off below!

Wild Rock Band Speculation! (Early Edition)
This was just posted on RockBandAide:
If this picture is real then this is what is going to be announced on Friday for next week's DLC and if it is, that makes me happy.
Blue Oyster Cult - "Burnin' For You"
Carole King - "I Feel the Earth Move"
Hum - "Stars"
If the picture is true then that will be two new songs since June added to my library. Not a fan of Hum's "Stars", but I'm digging the other two classic tracks.
Are you excited? Find out Friday if I'm right or not.

Video Game/DVD Tuesdays
Well it's that time, folks! It's Tuesday and I'm hear to enlighten you as to what is coming out in the video game and DVD department. This week I'm starting off with games, and instead of just the Xbox 360, I'm going to talk about upcoming PS3, DSi, PSP, Wii, and PC games as well. Following that I'll talk about upcoming DVD's. Blu-Rays will be introduced into my weekly post from this point forward.
You see I'm trying to raise my Klout in these things. What's Klout you ask? Why it's just a internet standard for measuring influence across a variety of different social networks, (including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Google, Foursquare, and Last.FM) you can also add people and give them Klout in topics that you feel they've influenced you in. It's an interesting thing.
www.klout.com
If you'd be so kind (if you signed up) to give me Klout in any of the topics that I've influenced you in through my blog and what not. Remember to add me as an influence too! Okay, shameless self promotion over, on with show.
Video Game Releases for 8/29/12
Xbox 360
Madden NFL 13' (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PlayStation Vita)
EA pushes out another yearly Madden NFL game. Now with Kinect! Call plays, audibles, switch things on the fly. Pretty neat tech if you ask me. I haven't played a Madden game since Madden 06, which I think was the first Madden out for the Xbox 360. With Kinect integrated this might be a title worth picking up, not that I have the clams for it or anything.
Damage Inc.: Pacific Squadron WWII (Xbox 360, PS3, PC)
Flight Combat Simulation! Not that I'm good at that or anything but it's FUN! WWII Military Aircraft! Check! Looks fun and honestly there can't be enough of these games! Seriously.
Mass Effect 3: Leviathan (DLC) (Xbox 360, PS3, PC)
So I played the first Mass Effect game and let me tell you, it was something special. I remember the space port at the beginning took me something like three hours to complete and it took me awhile after that to go back to it, but I'm glad I did. It was a blast to play. I never played the second or third one, but I sure they are the bees knees.
Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker HD Edition (Xbox 360, PS3)
Wasn't I just talking about the first NES game a post ago. Well Solid Snake has come a long way from 8-Bit. I've only played both Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid: Snake's Revenge. I think I played a Metal Gear game back on the GameCube but I can't remember and I'm not looking it up! If you a Metal Gear fan, you're probably going to own this.
WWE WrestleFest
The popular iPhone/iPad game is hitting the XBLA this Wednesday. Are you ready? I said, ARE YOU READY! Depending on how much it is and how the demo plays I might actually pick this up, after some consumer research that is! More DLC, that is all I'm asking! Now can you dig that, SUCKA!
Joe Danger 2: The Movie
I want to say that this original IP came out for the GameCube and now it's a sequel on XBLA. I missed the first one hitting the live arcade, let alone a second game. Hell, I've never played the game but I am sure a few people will get this and enjoy it.
Rock Band Blitz (Xbox 360, PS3)
Well if you read my blog you know my thoughts about this game already. With that said, I hope Harmonix makes a zillion dollars off this for the eventual release of RB4 on next gen consoles, or you know, if Viacom plays maybe it'll be sooner, whoops did I just type it, or think it.... Did they hear me?
Anyways, get it if you don't want to invest in all those pesky instruments. Also, you know buy all the DLC so Harmonix keeps doing what they do best!
Max Payne 3: Disorganized Crime Map Pack (Xbox 360, PS3)
Look a game I've actually gotten a chance to play (thanks RedBox!) and what a great game it is! Need more goodness? Well RockStar has the hook-up! A groovy little map pack coming your way. Taste the Payne-y flavor! Now with more blood!
Playstation 3
God of War Saga
Collects God of War, God of War II, God of War III, and God of War: Origins remastered in HD. That is a ton of bang for your buck! Never played the God of War games, but if I get a PS3, I might pick this up just to check out the games. Awesome compilation at a decent price.
Ratchet & Clank Collection
Includes Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal all remastered. Once again another sweet collection and for someone who doesn't own a PS3 and a new console owner these collection games would be great to try. If you love Ratchet & Clank you've probably already have your pre-order in and salivating at the very thought of playing this today.
inFamous Collection
Collects the first two inFamous games, as well as Festival of Blood. Good deal once again. Not to sure if inFamous is the right game for me but like Mikey, I'll eat anything.
Journey Collector's Edition
Three games in one box. You get Journey, Flower, and flOw. Never played them but it's cool that you get three games for the price of one. Grab em' while you can!
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD
Now on PS3! Remember what you loved about Tony Hawk? Sick tricks and no board peripheral either! Sweet. Just like Baseball and Apple Pie! Go get some!
Nintendo Wii
Mama's 2-Pack
No screenshot box art or description available. Get at your own risk!
Nintendo 3DS
Roller Coaster Tycoon
Loved this game on the PC. If I had a 3DS I'd grab this bad boy up! Fun, fun game. Don't know if they've simplified for the 3DS but either way it'll be great!
Order Up!!
Another chef-simulation type of game. Not worth my time. Moving on.
Chevrolet Camaro: Wild Ride
No box art or description given. If you love Chevrolet you'll be alright, otherwise, buy at your own risk!
PC
Guild Wars 2
Have I played the first one? Nope. I don't even know anything about this game. I am sure people are crapping their britches right now either over my statement or their anxiousness over having to wait less than twenty four hours until release. You wouldn't understand, it's a Guild Wars 2 thing.
Knight Age
3D Fantasy MMORPG! Why not. It's not like the market if flooded with these or anything. Might be interesting but I don't play MMO's. So I'll pass on this bad boy.
Starvoid
An RTS with a rich Sci-Fi setting with competitive online action. Sign me up! If you dig on those RTS then give this one a look.
There is a few more PC titles, but nothing that is standing out to talk about. If you're still with me on this new and lengthy journey let's grab that popcorn, turn up the sound and dim the lights, because this week I'm introducing Blu-Ray discs in the mix. What! What!
DVD/Blu-Ray Releases for 8/28/2012
Let's see, oh man, there's a ton of stuff coming out this week. I'm going to start with Universal 100th Anniversary Blu-Rays. Now I'm only going to post a one pic to show what the border of each disc is going to be and then I'll list all the ones coming out this week! Awesome. Let's get to it!
List of Universal 100th Anniversary Editions for this week:
Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds
Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein
Airport
Jurassic Park
The Lost World: Jurassic Park
Jurassic Park III
Harvey
Vertigo
Out of Africa
Double Indemnity
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Atonement
Scarface
Man, that has to hurt the wallet of a collector this week. Ouch. Glad I don't have a hardcore need to own all of these films. I already have Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind on DVD. I'd own The Birds and Scarface on Blu-Ray if I had a Blu-Ray player. Let's see what is coming out on the Horror DVD/Blu-Ray front.
The Walking Dead: The Complete Second Edition Blu-Ray
I mean who doesn't want that staring them in the face every day. It's pretty disturbing to say the least and I'm sure it would be a conversation starter with new people. The screwdriver is killing me...
The Living Dead Girl (Blu-Ray/DVD)
Never seen it, but if I was a kid again that cover alone would make me want to see it. I'm sure it's not as great as a bucket of chicken or a bag of chips, but, I'm a sucker for horrible horror films. Believe that player. Oh Redemption, you so crazy! Love it!
Two Orphaned Vampires
Once again, never seen it but maybe I need to take a trip to ScareCrow Video and do some renting! Looks disturbing, watch at your own risk! That goes for the film above too!
Lovely Molly
If I recall the trailer correctly it's a shaky-cam style flick that centers around possession. Even though I think it's a PG-13 rating, it still might be worth seeing. It'll be a Netflix rental to be sure!
Jersey Shore Shark Attack
Man this looks awful. Can't wait to see it! Snarf!
So Horror films aren't your bag? Love those day drainging films that spans a crapload of disc, well look no further LoTR fans, you Blu-Ray day has arrived!
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Extended Editions Blu-Ray

Each Blu-Ray comes with a total of five discs and probably a ton of blu-ray features and extras. Even though I own these editions on DVD, I still want them on Blu-Ray (even though I have no player), is that wrong? Yes. Yes, it is.
There are a ton of other Blu-Ray/DVD's coming out this week, so break open them piggy banks and get to steppin'!
Well, are you still with me? Cool, thanks for reading this new and improved, and insanely long version of Video Game/DVD Tuesday.

Gaming: This Ginger's Perspective
So I've played a lot of games, video games (Arcades, PC, Consoles), role playing games (table-top and LARP), card games (collectable and otherwise), miniature gaming (Horrorclix, Heroclix, etc.).
Today I'll talk about Video Gaming
It all started with the Atari 2600. My brother and I played the shit out of that console. Countless battles of Combat. I remember playing hours of Maze Craze, which is just what it sounded like, let's see if I can't find a picture on this here internet:
Yes, feast your eyes on the future of gaming! But let me tell you, back then, this was freaking awesome! Other games of note (infamous or otherwise): Pac-Man (arg!), Megalomanic, M.A.S.H., The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (I'm not kidding!):
Honestly that is just LeatherFace's Chainsaw! Ha! Good times. Man those games were hard back then.
Fast forward a few years and I'm living in California with my Mom. Dad comes for a visit (they were recently divorced) and drops a new NES Game System w/ Metal Gear Solid on my lap in 1987. I remember that the console also had Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt with I believe the light gun...
Man that game (Metal Gear Solid) was hard when I first started. I got down to beating the game in about three house in one sitting. Talk about dedication! Indeed, indeed.
Skip forward a number of years again, this time about fifteen years give or take and then it happened. I bought the original Xbox. It was all over before it started. Fell in love with video games all over again. Halo, Bloodrayne, Jaws (not so great, but hey, You're the Shark!), and a slew of other titles. I picked up a 360 many years later and have loved the crap out of that console, I must have, because I've spent a shit ton of money into it. I've been through a few console with the RROD and the current one I have now I bought from a friend for a pretty good price. I've played nearly two hundred games on the console which for me might just be a milestone, though currently I only play about three titles: Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012, Rock Band 3, and Minecraft. I also play WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 for my wrasslin' fix!
I also picked up a Wii with a few games, though right now it's in the bedroom as a glorified Netflix viewer. I've only played a handful of games on the Wii so I really don't have to much to say about it. Maybe the Wii U will be better, but I don't think you'll see me buying one.
I've (dare I say it?) been thinking about trying the PS3 out for a bit now. I do have a few friends (near and far) that own one and at least I wouldn't have to wade through all the d-bags online. Don't get me wrong, I've met some very awesome people on the Xbox 360 and I don't plan on leaving that anytime soon!
I love the lightweight aspect to the PS3 controllers, and the PlayStation Plus program is pretty sweet with free games, and I'll admit it, I've been dying to try out PlayStation Home with my friends. There is also a slew of games that I'm itching to play though I think a first purchase would either be Heavy Rain, WWE 13', or maybe even Uncharted or something like that. So many games, so little time.
What is your favorite console of all time? Do you own all the current generation consoles and love them all? Are you only a PC player? Sound off and let me know about your gaming history!

This Week in Rock Band
Well I was right in a way about today DLC announcement. Harmonix is just releasing Rock Band Blitz on Wednesday and there are no new tracks that will be available (minus Rock Band Blitz). So this week will be a short blog post.
Here are the tracks released yesterday for the Xbox 360 on the RBN!
Indie Rock
Metal
Pop/Dance/Electronic
Prog
Rock
Look Left - "But Then I Fell In Love"
Well there you have it. If you're buying Blitz there will be a ton of new stuff to play, if you like me and not getting the game, I guess it's nothing new since I haven't purchased anything for about three months, minus two packs I've had my eye on for quite some time. I'll give a listen to the RBN tracks but I probably won't purchase anything this week. Maybe next Friday? Maybe.
See you here in a bit with some more blogging goodness!

Life: Writing
I have always loved to write. I remember back in high school helping my friend write up little two page stories for his English class. We thought it would be cool for Heavy Metal mascots to fight each other. It was fun and it was writing. I also have written a gob of song lyric which are still sitting around here in the Man Cave.
Fast forward a good number of years and I'm living in Modesto (California) and taking film classes at the Junior College and I started writing scripts which is pretty fun and insanely infuriating at the same time. I've penned an eighty page, a number of sixty pages, a short thirty minute one, and a few ten and under. All in all I loved them and my film teacher said I could write pretty well, which was very flattering of course (it does get you everywhere!) and I still have a ton of script ideas running around in my head all the time, but I think I'm going to try my hand (and brain) at writing a novel, in long hand mind you, you know because I'm sadistic.
That is right! My weird brain is going to take a good ole' stab at it. Novel writers out there, any tips? I'm thinking of naming the chapters (because I'm weird) and like I do with scripts I'll probably write the end first, followed by the beginning, and lumping the middle at the end, which is the first, ah wait, what? Yeah I don't know either!
All I want to know is who is coming with me? Should be fun!
Send in the Clowns or Harmonix Podcast #75 Challenge Accepted
I'm going to post my top three "music movies" which don't have to be about music, rockumentaries, documentaries, mockumentaries, concert films, movies with great soundtracks, all are up for grabs. So here's my three!
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Classic. Great music. Great storytelling. Weird as hell. Watched this for the first time when I was a teenager. Finally got to see it live just this last year. Great live show. Go see it, I'll wait! Love it! Right. Okay. One and done, let's see what's next...
Spinal Tap/A Mighty Wind
I put these two together since they are done by the same director. Love them both. Got to see A Mighty Wind when it was in theaters and it was awesome. Spinal Tap is such a classic too. Both shot in the docu-mocku-mentary style that Christopher Guest can only do justice.
GG Allin: Hated
Not for everybody, as a matter of fact not for most. Interesting documentary about GG Allin and the Murder Junkies done by Todd Phillips (of Road Trip fame). It is an account of GG Allin beginnings as a performer told by fans, friends, and family, and GG himself. Pretty crazy and NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART, EASILY SQUEAMISH, EASILY OFFENDED, AND ANYONE UNDER 18 AND POSSIBLY 21 IN SOME STATES. As a matter of fact you should NOT VIEW IT! You have been warned. The video includes: female nudity, full frontal male nudity, body fluids (use your imagination), and other things of a nature that may be disturbing to some viewers. SECOND WARNING!
Well there you have it. My top three "music movies" that I've enjoyed over the years. What are your favorite "music movies"?
